Depot Services – Terms of Service

1. Overview

  1. By using DepotServices, you agree to follow all rules listed in this Terms of Service.
  2. DepotServices connects clients with verified freelancers through our website and Discord server.
  3. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 13 years old.
  2. You must have a valid Discord account.
  3. You must follow all platform rules and Discord’s Terms of Service.

3. Communication Rules

  1. All communication between clients and freelancers must stay inside the official DepotServices ticket system.
  2. Direct messages (DMs) between clients and freelancers are not allowed.
  3. This rule protects both sides from scams, miscommunication, and unrecorded agreements.
  4. DepotServices does not protect any commission handled in DMs.
  5. Violating this rule may result in removal from the platform.

4. Freelancer Portfolios

  1. Freelancers may create portfolios through the admin-approved system.
  2. All submitted information must be accurate and belong to the freelancer.
  3. Uploaded examples must be original work or have proper permission.
  4. Portfolios may be edited, hidden, or removed if they violate rules.
  5. DepotServices may display portfolios publicly on the website.

5. Reviews

  1. Reviews are submitted through the DepotServices Discord bot.
  2. Submitting a review allows public display of your Discord username and avatar.
  3. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on real interactions.
  4. Fake, spam, or abusive reviews will be removed.
  5. Admins may edit or delete reviews at their discretion.
  6. Only one review per freelancer is allowed unless updated after a new commission.

6. Payments & Commissions

  1. DepotServices does not handle payments unless stated otherwise.
  2. Clients and freelancers are responsible for pricing and delivery agreements.
  3. DepotServices is not responsible for payment disputes or failed commissions.
  4. Work must be delivered inside the ticket unless approved by staff.
  5. Any commission handled outside the platform is not protected.

7. Prohibited Actions

  1. Impersonation of freelancers, clients, or staff.
  2. Uploading stolen, harmful, or inappropriate content.
  3. Bypassing verification or ticket systems.
  4. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
  5. Spamming or abusing the review system.
  6. Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities.

8. Content Ownership

  1. Freelancers retain ownership of their work.
  2. Uploading content grants DepotServices permission to display it.
  3. DepotServices does not claim ownership of freelancer creations.

9. Admin Rights

  1. Admins may edit or remove content that violates rules.
  2. Admins may restrict, suspend, or ban users.
  3. Admins may update website content and systems at any time.
  4. Admin decisions are final.

10. Liability

DepotServices is not responsible for:

  • Lost files
  • Payment issues
  • User miscommunication
  • Damages caused by user actions
  • Downtime or technical issues
